Setup Internet Access: XP


Note: Your username ( 4- 8 lowercase characters ) and password will be e-mailed to you. Your email address (username you selected during registration), will be in the form of johndoe@webpowerplus.com. 
  1. Click on the Start menu.
  2. Click on My Computer

  3. Click on My Network Places.

  4. Click on View Network Connections.

  5. Click on Create New Connection.

  6. Click the Next button.

  7. Choose Connect to the Internet.
  8. Click the Next button.

  9. Choose Set up my connection manually.
  10. Click the Next button.

  11. Choose Connect using a dial-up modem.
  12. Click the Next button.

  13. In the ISP Name box, type webpowerplus.com
  14. Click the Next button.

  15. In the Telephone number box, enter the number of your dial-up POP. Click here to locate a POP near you.
  16. Click the Next button.

  17. In the User name box, your user name.
  18. In the Password box, type your password.
  19. In the Confirm Password box, type your password again.
  20. Check all three boxes on the page.
  21. Click the Next button.

  22. Click the Next button.

  23. Click here for help using the Internet for the first time.
